FIR against D-Mart, one more over unauthorized sale of Saras ghee

Jaipur: Saras Dairy has lodged an FIR against D-Mart & Khandelwal and Company. The investigation uncovered that the firm from which D-Mart purchased Saras ghee is not an authorized distributor. Additionally, stocks of Pro-Vedic ghee have been seized at various locations as part of ongoing action directed by Food Safety Commissioner Iqbal Khan.

Additional Commissioner Pankaj Ojha reported that on Thursday, spurious ghee of Saras and Pro-Vedic brands was seized but on Friday morning, D-Mart returned stock to the vendor via a transfer note.
