Files worth Rs 200 cr missing in PHED hints at scam in JJM?

Jaipur: Where did the files worth 200 crores disappear? A ‘Big game’ has again happened in PHED department wherein rupee 200 crore tender files of JJM have gone missing. Reportedly, 8 files are missing from Additional Chief Engineer-2 office and these files are concerned with M/s Ganpati, Shreeshyam Tubewells firm.

Notably, both Firms were accused of fake experience certificates. These files are related to the tenders of 2020-21 and 2021-22 related to work in Shahpura worth Rs 51.23 crore, Viratnagar worth Rs 38.82 crore, Kotputli worth Rs 24.02 crore, Viratnagar worth Rs 26.70 Crore, Rs 2.49 crore file of Chavand’s water scheme, Rs 2.92 crore file of Dhularam water scheme. Now ACE RC Meena has issued search warrant.

These tenders belong to the time of former ACE Manish Beniwal. Thus the big question now is : Have the files really gone missing, or is there a conspiracy?
