Fame tour of PoW reaches Rajasthan from Delhi Cantt
New Delhi/Jaipur: The world famous royal train Palace on Wheels (PoW) left for its fame tour on Saturday morning from New Delhi’s Delhi Cantt Railway Station and reached the State. A total of 76 passengers from India and abroad are traveling in this fame tour. On this occasion, RTDC Chairman Dharmendra Rathore, while greeting all the passengers, said that PoW is running continuously since 1982. He informed tourist about the modern furnishings and all tourist amenities in the train.
“Rajasthan govt has formulated a rural tourism policy to promote tourism and culture and to connect tourism with the villages and dhanis of the state. Under this, if a person has 2000 sq meters of land, then he can build a hotel directly without the permission of the government,” he said.
On this occasion, Dhiraj Srivastava, while welcoming the tourists traveling in the special Fame Tour informed them about royal train.
