Expelled MLA of BJP, Shobharani joins Cong

Jaipur: Expelled BJP MLA Shobharani Kushwaha has joined the Congress party. Kushwaha was expelled from BJP for cross-voting in the Rajya Sabha polls last year. Cong District President in Dholpur Saket Bihari said that Kushwah has joined Congress.

Kushwaha had voted in favor of Congress candidate Pramod Tiwari last year following which she was served a show cause notice by the BJP seeking an explanation. However, she he did not give any explanation and made statements against the party following which she was expelled.
