Expedite works related to National Broadband Mission, CS to officials

Jaipur: CS Usha Sharma has directed officials to expedite process of laying internet networks in rural areas during a meeting regarding the National Broadband Mission at Secretariat on Monday. She asked officials to speed up process of NoC for land allotment, installation of towers and laying optical fiber cables. She directed depts concerned to ensure early disposal of pending cases. Sharma said under the mission, 60 percent broadband connectivity is to be ensured in villages by 2022 and 100% by 2022-23. She expressed happiness over 91% villages in state having broadband connectivity by June. She directed to organize meeting of Dist Level Telecom Committee regularly.
