ERCP dominates Kisan Sansad held in Jaipur

Jaipur: Kisan Sansad was held at Birla Auditorium here on Tuesday where issues related to farmers, livestock and youths were discussed. Sansad was organized under the banner of Samyukt Kisan Morcha. Rakesh Tikait, national spokesperson of Bharatiya Kisan Union was present.

The issue of Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project dominated Sansad. Speaking on the occasion Himmat Singh Gurjar said, “When proposal was sent to the Centre, there was a BJP govt here, but now there is Cong govt here. Despite having Raj’s Jal Shakti Minister at Centre, the project is stuck.” Raja Ram Meel said that there is a rift in BJP but the general public is suffering. Agneepath scheme of the Central government was also opposed in the Sansad.
