Ensure timely laying of gas pipelines in State: CS to officials

Jaipur: Domestic gas connections will be made available from more than 96 lakh pipelines in the state in the next eight years. For this, a target of laying 37 thousand 824 inch km of gas pipeline and establishment of 1187 CNG stations has been set and 14 companies have been authorized for this.
Chief Secretary Usha Sharma took a meeting in this regard and directed that nodal officers should be appointed in the departments concerned for the smooth and time-bound work of laying gas pipelines in the state.
