Ensure time bound and effective implementation of budget announcements, says CM Ashok Gehlot

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said on Wednesday that timely and effective implementation of budget announcements should be done. He said that out of 2722 announcements made in the last four budgets, approval for more than 95 percent announcements has been issued and the implementation of 87 percent announcements is complete and in progress. The state government is committed to take its public welfare schemes to the last person, he said.

Gehlot addressed the review meeting of budget announcements at the Government Secretariat on Wednesday and said, “In order to convert the existing enthusiasm among the common people regarding the budget into satisfaction, all the departments should work with mutual coordination and ensure successful implementation of the announcements. All sections including youth, farmers, animal herders, laborers, students, elderly, women have been taken care of in the budget.”
