Ensure max benefits of govt schemes reach people: CS to officials
Jaipur: Chief Secretary Usha Sharma, during a meeting through video-conference with the District Collector and department officials at the Secretariat regarding the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, on Friday directed that it must be ensured that maximum benefits are provided to the beneficiaries deprived of public welfare schemes. She instructed for proper arrangement of necessary facilities like health check-up and drinking water, etc. in the camps.
Sharma said that participation of local public representatives should be ensured in the yatra. In the meeting, Government Secretary Panchayati Raj Ravi Jain told the CS about the progress of the yatra in rural areas.
She said that 170 IEC vans are being operated in rural areas to create awareness among people so that they avail maximum benefits of the schemes. “Through these, until now more than 14 lakh 57,000 people have been connected by organizing camps in 1615 gram panchayats in the state,” she said.
