Emotional Gehlot remembers Rajiv on fulfilling his dream

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, on Saturday, again took a dig at the central government regarding the economic slowdown and appealed to overcome the situation of recession with cooperation. On this occasion, he said that the dollar has crossed `80 and in such a situation, the central government should fight this economic slowdown by discussing with the state governments. CM Gehlot quipped that net closure also causes problems for me but in the interest of common people, efforts will be made to have its effect only in a particular area. The old information center has been transformed into the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Advanced Technology, inaugurated by CM Gehlot.

Talking to reporters on this occasion, Gehlot said, “We will organize an investment summit on the basis of our model in which every effort will be made to make the MoU, land on the ground.”

In order to increase jobs in the private sector also, the Invest Summit is being organized in the month of October. In which MoUs worth five lakh crores have been signed.

“This will also increase employment opportunities in the private sector. We will do investment summit not as Modi model like Gujarat but as Rajasthan model. We will try that whatever MoUs are done, they should also come to the ground. Many times it is seen that only 8 to 10 percent of MoUs are executed. That’s why we will try on this that only those MoUs should be done which are executed on the ground,” he said.
