Jaipur/New Delhi: It seems that airline companies have lost their humanity! An example of this came to light on Monday when an elderly woman had to face trouble at Delhi airport. An elderly woman passenger from Jaipur, flying by Alliance Air, had to suffer.
84-year-old Shashikala Goswami is seriously ill and on Sunday night, she reached Delhi from Jaipur by flight 9I-644. First, the flight reached Delhi 1 hour 20 minutes late from the scheduled time. When a wheelchair was called for to deboard the plane, the airline staff did not bring it. Then her son - Sushil - took his mother in his arms and brought her down from the plane and by then the plane staff and the passenger bus had also left.
With the help of ground staff present there, the 84-year-old elderly took out her wheelchair from her luggage and kept waiting to reach the terminal building from the apron. Later, 2 pilots dropped her in the terminal building from their car and in this way, she kept facing trouble for more than 1 hour.
