Elderly man killed in Rajasthan's Barmer

Jaipur: A 68-year-old man was killed allegedly by unidentified assailants in Rajasthan's Barmer district in the early hours of Tuesday, police said.

Aam Singh was sleeping in his farmhouse in the Siwana area when the accused entered the premises and allegedly attacked him with sharp weapons, they said.

The murder came to light when his son arrived at the farmhouse and found the body.
A forensic team was called to the spot and an investigation is underway, the police said. PTI
