Efforts to make greener Rajasthan with seven new wildlife conservation reserves

Jaipur: Rajasthan will become a model state in forest and wildlife conservation as preparation is being made to make 7 new conservation reserves in the state. The Wildlife Act will be implemented in these areas as soon as they are declared Conservation Reserve.

The Conservation Reserves will to be declared in Kharmor in Ajmer, Khichan in Jodhpur, Baleshwar in Sikar, Fatehpur in Sikar, Desuri Narlai in Rajsamand, Banj Amli in Baran, and Barmer. So far, a total of 22 conservation reserves have been notified in the state. As soon as 7 new reserves are notified, their number will be total 29. In such a situation, the protection of forest and wildlife will be strong. This will be result of the efforts of ACS Shikhar Agarwal, HoFF Dr. DN Pandey, and CWLW Arindam Tomar.

There is also speed in voluntary relocation of villages from Tiger Parks. 3 villages each from Sariska and Mukundra and one from Ranthambore were relocated.
