ED raids on JJM Scam: Officials take away Joshi’s phone, seize documents

Jaipur: In a big move, under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) scam, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided Jaipur-Banswara under PMLA2002.

Searches were conducted at the locations of PHED officials including former minister Dr. Mahesh Joshi. During the ED searches cash, property documents worth Rs 39 lakh, various documents including digital evidence, and mobile were recovered.

The ED team confisicated Mahesh Joshi’s personal mobile phone in order to conducted deeper analysis on it. At Joshi’s house, during the search, five locked boxes were found, and to open them a cutter machine was ordered, as the keys were not available. However, on opening, ED did not find anything in these closed boxes.
