ED, IT action at Ganpati Plaza concludes without unearthing concrete evidence

Jaipur: The investigation of the lockers at Ganpati Plaza following the allegations of Rajya Sabha MP Kirodi Lal Meena is still shrouded in mystery. The ED team, concluded the search without uncovering concrete evidence.

Income Tax officials continue to be present at the scene but no official notice has been issued by either the ED or Income Tax.

ED and Income Tax department officials got involved in probing the matter after Kirodi Meena on Friday alleged that black money and gold is kept in 100 lockers of the private firm in Ganpati plaza building. However, no concrete evidence was unearthed.

ED and IT department officials had asked more than 100 locker holders to come with the keys to Ganpati Plaza on Saturday. A list of locker holders was also prepared for potential questioning.

The examination of long-dormant lockers has revealed anonymous holdings by owners.
