ED confiscates 218 acres land of Appu Ghar on Sikar Road

Jaipur: Enforcement Directorate has confiscated 218 acres of land of Appu Ghar on Sikar Road under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. The action was taken on the basis of the FIR lodged against International Recreation and Amusement Limited, the company operating Appu Ghar, in connection with embezzling more than Rs 400 crore from about 1500 investors in Gurugram.

The company attracted investments worth crores of rupees by promising investors housing in the Affordable Housing Scheme & shops or space in Sector 29 and 52-A of Gurugram and monthly returns on the invested amount but the directors of the company could neither provide housing, shops and space etc. to the investors within the stipulated time frame.
