ECI urges CS & DIPR to enforce code of conduct with utmost care

Jaipur: Election Commission of India (ECI) has directed officials to ensure the imposition of the code of conduct once the election schedule is announced.

CEO Praveen Gupta has taken proactive steps to ensure compliance with these regulations.
Following the ECI’s instructions, Gupta has sent a letter to the CS and the DIPR, urging them to enforce the code of conduct properly.

As part of the code of conduct implementation, various actions have been outlined. These include the removal of photographs of ministers from relevant departments on govt websites, eliminating references to political leaders or ministers, and taking down photographs and messages displayed on govt buildings and advts.
