Jaipur: A crisis has emerged after removal of SP in three districts due to shortage of officers. Government has to send a panel of names of three IPS for one district. But at present, there is a huge shortage of SP level officers in the state.

According to sources, names of IPS officers were repeated in the panel for SP to be appointed in all 3 districts. The Election Commission has to finalise names from these and it may face difficulty in deciding the names.

The Department of Personnel sent a panel to the Election Commission for appointment of SPs in Bhiwadi, Hanumangarh and Churu. The Personnel Department sent the names of three IPS officers to the panel for one district. Similarly, a panel of three names was also sent to appoint a Collector in Alwar. Now the EC will decide which officer will be posted in these districts. Orders will be issued for posting of new officers on Friday.
