Eat Right certificates to 35 Circuit Houses of Rajasthan

Jaipur: 35 campuses including all the circuit houses of Rajasthan have got the Eat Right Campus certificate. For meeting the food safety standards, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has been given a five star rating certificate with excellent category. Apart from the Circuit House of 33 districts, the Circuit House of Mount Abu and Transit Hostel in Jaipur has been given this certificate, Health Secretary Dr. Prithvi said. For this, the Food Safety Commissionerate conducted a special campaign to train the personnel of these campuses. Their audit was also done.

He said that training was imparted on maintaining the food items as per the standards, maintaining hygiene while preparing and serving the food and on other aspects. It is worth mentioning that before this, 37 residential schools of the state have got the certificate of ‘Eat Right Campus’, Jaipur Railway Station as ‘Eat Right Station’, Masala Chowk and Mansarovar Chaupati as ‘Clean Street Food Hub’ and Moti Doongri Ganesh Mandir got the certificate in ‘Blissful Hygienic Offering to God’ category
