E-auction: RHB sets record, earns Rs 86.30 cr in a day
Jaipur: The Commissioner of Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB), Pawan Arora said that the RHB has once again set a new record by e-auctioning its residential and commercial properties which reflects that the trust of the people of the state in the properties of the Mandal has been restored. The enthusiasm of investors is also increasing in the plans of the Board. A total revenue of Rs 86.30 crore has been received by the Board from the Coaching Hub Arcade, Premium properties and the Wednesday Auction Festival.
Arora said that the Board has achieved great success in getting auction prices several folds higher than the minimum bid price of 30 showrooms and two big plots in the auction of the first the country's unique Coaching Hub Arcade in Pratap Nagar, wherein, 727 people participated to buy showrooms. The RHB Commissioner further informed that out of total 90 showrooms at the lower ground, upper ground and first floor in the Arcade, a total of 30 showrooms were auctioned in the first phase. Upper ground floor showrooms were sold for three times more than the lowest bid price of Rs 49 lakh.
The lower ground floor and first floor showrooms were auctioned at twice their minimum bid prices of Rs 39 lakh and Rs 35 lakh respectively. Two plots of about 1700 square metres area, whose minimum bid was fixed at Rs 49,000 per square metre, were sold at more than one-and-ahalf-times the price. Arora added that even from auction of a large commercial plot of about 1,200 square metres area in Indira Gandhi Nagar Jagatpura, the Mandal has got almost double the revenue from the minimum bid price of Rs 48,000 per square metre. He said that the Board has received a revenue of Rs 18.43 crore from the auction of 18 premium properties on Wednesday itself and Rs 13.17 crore from the auction of 100 other residential properties and 13 commercial properties through e-bid.
