E-auction of 71 mining plots to begin from March 1

Jaipur: The Mines Department has started the e-auction process of 71 mining plots of minor minerals in eight districts. Additional Chief Secretary Mines, Petroleum Subodh Agarwal said that eauction of these mining plots will be held on the e-platform of Government of India from March 1 to March 15.

Agrawal said that the department has prepared 71 plots for auction of Minor Mineral Granite, Quartz, Feldspar, Sandstone, Silica sand, Masonry Stone, Dimensional Limestone, etc.

“In order to maintain transparency and competition in the auction, Minister of Mines, Cow and animal Husbandry, Pramod Jain Bhaya called for wide publicity. A detailed information has been displayed on the departmental website and the Government of India portal so that more people can participate in the auction from any corner of the world,” he said.

Agarwal said that the auction process was expedited this year by preparing mineral plots by the department. The eauction process of 630 mineral plots of Minor and Major minerals will be completed in the state on February 17.
