E-auction of 639 minor mineral plots starts, will continue till August 23

Jaipur: The State Mines Department has commenced process of e-auctioning 639 minor mineral plots. Mines Department is expected to get more than Rs 100 cr in revenue from this process which will continue till August 23.

Most of mining plots of one hectare in 19 districts of the state have been developed for auction, this will increase participation of the local people with less capital in mining activities, and will foster local employment opportunities. Mines Minister Pramod Jain Bhaya said CM Gehlot has been emphasizing on promoting legal mining.

ACS Dr Subodh Agrawal informed that Mines Department has started the process of auction. Auction of mining leases is being done through e-portal. Auction process began on June 28 and will continue till August 23. ACS Dr Agarwal informed that e-auction will be held for 46 mining plots of Masonry Stone in Raipur Bhawaria of Pali, 2 of granite in Bali Bhitwara, 11 of granite in Riyabri Surajgarh of Nagaur, 59 of masonry stone in Asavari of Mundwa, K h u d k h u d k a l a n , Nokha Chandavata of Merta, Dhani of Tado, Kharikarmasota of Nagaur, 4 of Masonry stone at Jamwaramgarh Matasula of Jaipur, Khedanihalpur of Kotputli, 9 of Masonry stone at Kodi Chaupawatan of Raniwada of Jalore, & others.
