Dy CM Diya gives financial nod to four public welfare schemes
Jaipur: Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari has given financial approval to make Rajasthan Loktantra Senani Samman Nidhi Yojana 2008 effective from February 1, 2024. It is noteworthy that as of 2019, there were 1,405 beneficiaries in the state. Out of these, on February 1, 2024, the surviving ‘Loktantra Senani’ will be given an amount of Rs 20,000 per month as pension and Rs 4,000 per month as medical aid.
10% increase in honorarium of ex-servicemen
Keeping in mind the welfare of ex-servicemen, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari has also approved an increase of 10% in their honorarium from April 1, 2024.
Tenure of Group Accident Insurance Scheme extended for one year
Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari has given financial consent to extend the tenure of Group Accident Insurance Scheme for State Government employees by one year again from May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025, as per the employee welfare policy of the state government.
10% hike in honorarium of councilors, mayors, chairpersons and presidents of local urban bodies
According to the budget announcement, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari has increased the current rates of honorarium of councillors, mayors, chairpersons and chairpersons of local urban bodies of autonomous government departments by 10%. Financial consent has been given to amend the Act/ Rule related to this.
