Dy CM Diya assumes office amid vedic chants

Jaipur: Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari took charge at the Secretariat after taking oath on Friday in the presence of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. She took charge amid chanting of Vedic mantras in her office located on the first floor of the main building of the Secretariat.

On this occasion, she said that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, the State government will work for the all-round development of the state and the welfare of all sections of the society. On this occasion, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, MP Ramcharan Bohra, C.P. Joshi, MLA Deepti Kiran Maheshwari, Mahant Balmukundacharya, former Deputy Leader of Opposition Satish Poonia and former MLA Ashok Parnami were present.
