Dream of developed India will be true very soon: Diya
Jaipur: Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari has expressed the need to move forward only by including the disabled as a part of the family as per the Prime Minister’s thinking of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’. She said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the pace of development has tripled since 2014. “The dream of a developed India will come true very soon, even before 2047. The state government is committed to women empowerment,” she said while addressing gathering at the Chief Minister Divyang Scooty Distribution Ceremony organized under the chairmanship of Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Avinash Gehlot at Government Savitri Bai Phule Hostel, (College Level) Gandhi Nagar, Jaipur on Wednesday.
Addressing the function, Diya congratulated 60 disabled people for getting the scooter and said that it is her wish that it brings happiness in their life.
“There are many daughters among the disabled people who have received scooty. The state government is committed to women empowerment. Work is being done for women’s safety in the state. Karate has been included in the sports quota in the budget announcement. CCTV cameras will be installed in public places and they will also be operated properly. When the budget comes again in July, special care will be taken of the disabled people,” she said.
