Don’t give land lease in haste: JDC

Jaipur: JDA commissioner Ravi Jain has directed all zone deputy commissioners to take a decision on regulation of colonies only after proper verification.

He said that the officers should not be in a hurry to give the lease.
The JDC was reviewing the progress of Prashasan Shahron ke Sang in a meeting here. He asked officers to prepare a list of colonies which are fit for regulation.

He also said that the plots for which leases have not been issued should be identified and the concerned plot holders should be informed about this.

It may be noted that the JDA has got the target of distributing 1.5 lakh leases in the campaign. Out of this, JDA has issued 1 lakh leases.

The JDC also held a meeting regarding JDA’s land bank and instructed zone deputy commissioners to identify plots for auction. He also directed to create residential, commercial, institutional and industrial schemes.
