Doctors in the State protest, disrupting medical services
Jaipur: The nationwide outrage following the brutal murder of a woman in Kolkata has escalated, with widespread protests impacting medical services across India. In Jaipur, the residents of SMS Medical College extended their shutdown for a second consecutive day, leading to a significant disruption of all medical services, including OPD, IPD, ICU, & emergency care.
Residents at SMS, Jaipuria, and other hospitals have taken to the streets, demanding the swift implementation of the Central Protection Act to safeguard healthcare workers.
In Bikaner, despite heavy rain, doctors, including interns and senior residents, marched in solidarity under the leadership of RDA President Abhijit Yadav and Secretary Dr. Shubham Jaanu.
