Diya inspects Sikar Road for waterlogging & traffic

Jaipur: Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari conducted an inspection of areas along Sikar Road prone to waterlogging and traffic congestion on Friday evening. NHAI officials accompanied her during the visit.

She reviewed the progress of ongoing work beneath the 14 number bridge and directed officials to expedite these projects before the onset of the Monsoon.

The persistent congestion and waterlogging at 14 No. bridge have posed challenges for local residents & commuters along Sikar Road for years. During her previous visit, she had told NHAI officials to find a permanent solution to this problem. Sikar Road flyover, drainage project worth Rs 192 crore is slated for completion in year 2025.
