‘Distressed farmers’ under debt meet BJP leaders

Jaipur: A group of distressed farmers reached BJP state office in Jaipur to bring attention to their dire situation.
President of BJP Kisan Morcha and MP Bhagirath Choudhary expressed concern over the increasing number of farmers losing their land due to mounting debts.

He stated that many farmers were facing severe hardships, struggling to sleep or even to afford food. He said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had promised loan waivers for farmers during the 2018 assembly elections but the farmers’ distress continued.
