Dhariwal orders fencing of land, encroachment removal

Jaipur: Urban Development Minister Shanti Dhariwal on Friday inspected the case of encroachment on the land of Horse Breeding Farm located in the Rambagh complex in Jaipur. Soon fencing will be done on this seven bighas of land towards JDA.

A horse breeding farm used to operate on this land near Central Park. Many trees were also planted on this land. For the last fourfive days, many trees were being cut here and the land was being levelled. People who visit here daily had complained about this to Dhariwal and JDA Commissioner Ravi Jain. In this complaint made by the Central Park Bachao Sangharsh Samiti, it was alleged that trees are being cut using bulldozers to forcibly occupy the land here illegally.

JDA Commissioner Ravi Jain and several officers including JDA Director Engineering Ashok Choudhary were also present.

Dhariwal sought answers from the office bearers of the club who claimed that the land belonged to the club. Dhariwal instructed JDA commissioner Ravi Jain to barricade the 7 bigha land to save it from illegal occupation and also instructed to form a committee to investigate the whole matter.
