Dhariwal confronted by Councillors at PCC

Jaipur: During the public hearing on Wednesday chaired by Local Self Government Minister Shanti Dhariwal and Industries Minister Shakuntala Rawat at the state Congress headquarters, Congress councilors of Shahpura Municipality of Bhilwara created a ruckus. Along with Dhariwal, there was a fierce debate of the Congress councillors with the Congress Seva Dal workers. However, Industries Minister Shakuntala Rawat intervened, pacified the Congress councilors and listened to them. During the Jan Sunwai, Rawat assured the tenants of the Devasthan Department — demanding the implementation of the old policy instead of the new rent policy — that their demands will be considered after talking to CM Gehlot in the matter.
