DGP stresses on regular night patrol by officers

Jaipur: Director General of Police (DGP) Umesh Mishra on Saturday directed police officials to patrol in their respective areas from 7 pm to 11 pm every day. Following the directions, all senior police officials did patrol on Saturday evening in their areas. The DGP also directed concerned SPs to do patrolling compulsorily once a week while field officers including SHO and DSPs will do patrolling daily. The directions were issued after patrolling was reduced leading to an increase in crimes.
