DGP Mishra felicitates medalists of Asian Games

Jaipur: Rajasthan Police players who returned after participating in the 19th Asian Games held in China were given a grand welcome at the police headquarters. Director General of Police Umesh Mishra welcomed the winners and police players with turbans and bouquets.

He and DG Law and Order Rajeev Sharma presented cheques worth Rs 2 lakh each to the five medalists and Rs 50 thousand each to the participating players.

Women’s Kabaddi team coach, Deputy Superintendent Shalini Pathak and athletics coach ASI Ramavtar were also honoured.

Mishra said that the Rajasthan Police players have brought glory to the state & the country along with the police force. He congratulated the players, their coaches, sports officials and team managers. He said that all necessary sports and trainingrelated facilities will be provided to the best players of Rajasthan Police.
