DGP Lather, others pay tributes to police martyrs

Jaipur: Director General of Police ML Lather paid floral tributes to the martyrs at the Police Martyrs Day function organized at Shaheed Memorial, Rajasthan Police Academy on Friday. Lather remembered policemen of all states, union territories and paramilitary forces of the country who were martyred between September 1, 2021 to August 31, 2022 along with constables Bintu Chaudhary, Ishaq Mohammad Kayamkhani and women constable Suman Bhadauria. The Guard of Honour was given by the Police Commissionerate Jaipur and the contingent of RAC 4th and 5th Battalion. Retired DGP SP Srivastava, ADG Training Sachin Mittal, non-gazetted police officer Rajkumar Vashisht, Joint Deputy Director of IB DK Sharma, NIA SP Ravi Chaudhary, RPA Director Rajiv Sharma and Jaipur Police Commissioner Anand Srivastava laid wreaths at the memorial.

On the occasion, DGI Umesh Mishra, Director General Jail Bhupendra Dak, Director General ACB B L Soni, Additional Director General Sarvshree Saurabh Srivastava, Govind Gupta, A Ponuchami, Sanjib Narjari, Dinesh MN, Sunil Dutt, Smita Srivastava, Prashakha Mathur, Dr. Raviprakash Mehrda, Police officers and police personnel including Binita Thakur, Malini Agarwal were present. A blood donation camp was also organized in the hospital premises of Rajasthan Police Academy.
