Dense fog engulfs the State amid yellow alert, rain in 4 districts
Jaipur: A yellow alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department in many parts of the state, as the entire state is wrapped in a blanket of fog. There will be rain in four districts, while fog will cause trouble in six districts. A fog alert has been issued in Bharatpur, Dholpur, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Churu, and Nagaur. Alongside, the possibility of light to moderate rain in many parts of the state on Sunday is foreseen. There may be rain in many districts including Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, and Udaipur divisions. Cold may increase in the state due to falling mercury on the first day of January 2024.
The maximum temperature of Jaipur settled at 13 degrees Celsius on Saturday. In Bikaner, the maximum temperature stood at 12 degrees Celsius at 10:30 am on Saturday.
Apart from Rajasthan, the weather department has issued a “cold-day” alert and said “dense to very dense fog” is likely to be witnessed in Delhi-NCR for the next two days.
