Dams brimming with water

Jaipur: The dams in the state have received huge quantity of water during the monsoon this year. Out of the 22 dams, water level has increased from 34.25 percent to 64.49 percent. In May-June, the situation was critical. However, out of 22 big dams, three dams are still such empty. The medium and small 279 dams have been fi lled by 42 percent. The highest number of dams are fi lled in Kota division, then Udaipur is at number two. In Jaipur division, 20 percent dams are fi lled, while Jodhpur is at number four with 5.48 percent.
