Cylinder blast-hit village adopted by Raje receives rehabilitation services
Jodhpur: The gas cylinder blast victims of Bhungra village in Jodhpur district have started getting relief after former CM Vasundhara Raje adopted the village. Large residential containers have reached there for people to live in, which have attached bathrooms besides beds and chairs. Packets of food items are also being distributed among the people. The committee formed by Raje under the leadership of former MLA Babu Singh Rathore has started surveying what other help should be given. Raje had reached Bhungra village 3 days ago and was deeply hurt to see the devastation caused by the gas tragedy. Talking to the workers engaged in relief work on Friday, she said that it is time to embrace the victims. “There is a need to reduce the pain that they have to lose their loved ones. There should be no shortage in arrangements for them,” she said.
