Cubs of T-114 get acclimatised to Kota weather: Officials

Jaipur: Both the cubs of Ranthambore’s tigress T -114 are liking the climate of Kota.
After the death of T-114, both the cubs were shifted from Ranthambore to Abheda Biological Park in Kota in February. During the shift, they were in a weak condition.

However, in the last three months, the weight of the cubs has increased 5 times. They are being given a good diet and being monitored by CCTV cameras.

Veterinary doctor Vilasrao Gulhane said that when the cubs were shifted to Kota, their age was two and a half months and the weight of one cub was 4.9 kg and 7.2 kg of the other cub.

After shifting to Abheda Biological Park, both the cubs were taken care of and a good diet was given to them and medicines were also given from time to time.

“Proper monitoring was kept through 4 different CCTV cameras,” he said.
The weight of one cub has increased from 4.9 to 27 kg in three months while the weight of the second cub has increased from 7.2 to 35 kg. They are being given chicken and goat’s mutton.
