CS takes a tough stand to handle crisis

Jaipur: After the brutal murder of a man in Udaipur, Chief Secy Usha Sharma directed all the Divisional Commissioners , Inspector General of Police and District Collectors to take special vigil across the state. She held a high-level meeting on Tuesday evening.

She ordered stopping the internet for the next 24 hours across the state, by imposing Section 144 in all the districts for the next one month, cancelling leaves of all police and administrative officials, holding meetings of peace committees and imposing curfew in Udaipur as per the requirement. She instructed to send all the in-charge Additional Director Generals of Police to the range.
