CS reviews preps for I-Day programme

Jaipur: Chief secretary Usha Shama on Thursday directed officials to ensure proper arrangements for the state level Independence day function to be held at SMS hospital. She said that the 76th Independence Day would be celebrated with full gaiety like the function used to be held before the corona pandemic. Sharma said that all the departments should fulfill their assigned responsibilities with mutual coordination. A dog show will be organized by the police department. Various contingents of Police, RAC and Home Guard will participate in the parade and Central Police and Army bands will also give performances in the programme. Meanwhile, CS has directed officials of the health department to ensure smooth supply of medicines under the Mukhyamantri Free Nirogi Rajasthan Yojna. Chairing a review meeting on the implementation of the scheme, CS said that medicines are being made available free of cost in IPD and OPD in all medical institutions.
