CS reviews border security issue, preps for DGP meet

Jaipur: Chief Secretary Usha Sharma held a meeting at the Secretariat on Monday regarding issues related to border security. She also reviewed the preparations for the proposed DGP conference on January 5 to 7.

In the meeting related to border security, instructions were given to the officials to make necessary facilities and arrangements to develop infrastructure in the border areas. She also directed officials to make strict arrangements to stop illegal activities in the border and surrounding areas.

Sharma gave instructions to complete the process for developing roads and other infrastructure in the border area within the stipulated time.

She has also asked officials to address the problems of the villages around the border areas and provide necessary facilities to them.

In the review meeting of the preparations for the DGP conference, she gave instructions to complete all the necessary preparations in advance which include parking, traffic and others.
