CS interviews docs for post of Principal at two Med colleges

Jaipur: The search for a new Principal of Bikaner and Jodhpur Medical College has once again gained momentum in the State. The interviews for the coveted post were held in the secretariat on Friday. Chief Secretary Usha Sharma chaired the meeting of the selection committee and interviewed the doctors. A total of 14 doctors were called for interviews, of which, 10 appeared before the selection committee. The selection committee comprised RUHS Vice-Chancellor Dr Sudhir Bhandari, Principal Secretary (Medical Education) Vaibhav Galaria and other senior officials of the state government. Sources informed the recommendation of the selection committee will be sent to the Health Minister for finalisation of the names of the head of both the medical colleges. During the interview, the officials not only inquired about their administrative efficiency, but they also queried as to how they would work to increase the medical services as well as academic activities in the medical college.
