CS INTERVIEWS 28 DOCTORS FOR SMS PRINCIPAL POST

Jaipur: The search for a new Principal of SMS Medical College has once again gained momentum in the state. After completion of the application process, the interviews for the coveted post were held on Thursday. A total of 28 doctors from four medical colleges were shortlisted for the position

The applications were invited by the Medical Education Department and a total of 40 doctors have applied for the post. Of these 40 applicants, 37 doctors were found eligible for the post. On Thursday, the selection committee headed by Chief Secretary Usha Sharma took interviews of 28 doctors. The selection committee comprised RUHS ViceChancellor Dr Sudhir Bhandari, Principal Secretary (Medical Education) Vaibhav Galaria, Principal Secretary (Personnel) Hemant Gera besides Chief Secretary Usha Sharma.

Sources informed the selection committee focused on the upcoming projects of the SMS Medical College. The interview board asked questions related to IPD tower, cancer institute, OPD and IPD services and their vision for the development of the hospital. The committee also sought a plan as to how they would work to promote the PPP model in the hospital. Each doctor was given three to four minutes to keep their viewpoint before the selection committee.
