CS interacts with farmers who are using innovative methods, inspects fields
Jaipur: CS Usha Sharma inspected the fields of farmers in Jaipur’s Basedi, Guda Kumawatan, Bassi and Jhajhra and observed the innovations of agriculture and horticulture in Balolai villages. She said, “Agriculture plays an important role in the state’s economy. The state govt is working for the upliftment of the farmers.
Sharma interacted with Mevaram Meharia, a farmer of Balolai village and saw the plants being grown through a drip system in their house. She took information about advanced varieties of organic cucumber, tomato, green chilli, and flowers.
Sharma inspected crops in rural areas. Farmers told her that adopting an organic farming model has profited them. Horticulture Commissioner Shubham Chaudhary and others were also present.
