CS inspects Secretariat, highlights cleanliness issues

Jaipur: Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant conducted a brief inspection at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

While many arrangements were found satisfactory, he was unhappy with the lack of adequate cleaning arrangements. In view of this, he sought information from the officials regarding the contractor firm and gave instructions to improve the cleaning system.

The CS visited the private staff room of the Principal Secretary of Agriculture, the room of Joint Secretary Home, the entire sections of the Law Department and PWD and took information about the files and other works.

He mainly took information about how many employees are there in each section and how many of them have come at the right time.

Also, he himself checked the pendency of files on the computer. The CS expressed satisfaction over getting less pendency.
