CS directs officials to adhere to agreement points

Jaipur: Chief secretary Usha Sharma took a meeting at the secretariat on Wednesday regarding the compliance of the Government’s agreement with the doctors regarding the implementation of the Right to Health Act.

The CS instructed the officers of the departments concerned to follow the points decided in the agreement. Instructions were given to Secretary Naresh Thakral regarding the work related to financial provisions in the implementation of RTH Act. Similarly, instructions were given to Director Local Bodies Hridesh Kumar Sharma and Principal Secretary Kunjilal Meena to regularise clinics and hospitals being run from the residential premises on the Kota model.

Along with this, instructions were given to do the process of getting Fire NOC for five years instead of one. Instructions were also given to Principal Secretary Anand Kumar to decide the process of withdrawing the cases against protesting doctors. Joint Secretary Iqbal was also present in the meeting along with the officers of Home, Finance, Medical, Medical Education, UDH, and LSG.
