Covid 19: Raj Govt releases fresh guidelines with relaxations

Rajasthan Government has released new guidelines that will be applicable from January 31, 2022.

1. Schools for classes 10 to 12 will reopen from February 1 and for classes 6 to 9 from February 10. Students will be allowed to come to the campus for studies only after the written consent of the parent/guardian.

2. The facility of virtual classes will also be available for students.

3. All shops / shopping malls and other commercial business establishments will be allowed to open every day till 10:00 pm, ensuring compliance of Covid-appropriate behavior.

4. In the view of Covid transmission, if anyone wants to cancel or postpone the wedding booking, the garden or venue owners are required to refund or adjust the payment.

5. As per the orders, weekend curfew will no longer be applicable in State, but night curfew (from 11:00 pm to 05:00 am) will still be in force.

6. Operators of all institutions, markets, and workplaces are required to paste a 'declaration', (from 31st Jan onwards) stating how many employees, workers have been vaccinated.

7. Any political, religious, cultural, sports, or entertainment event will have maximum of 100 people, (50 in Municipal Corporation or Municipality areas till Jan 30) for which one must give information on online web portal http://covidinfo.rajasthan.gov.in→ e-intimation or on number 181.

8. In the month of January and February, various fairs representing the culture of Rajasthan like Urs 2022, Maru Mahotsav, cattle fair and others are to be organized, which have an important place in terms of business and employment related to tourism.

In the above context, there is a need to take full vigilance and caution while ensuring proper compliance of the Covid guidelines issued by the State Government earlier.

9. The said order will be effective from 31st January, 2022.
