Cop suicide: Probe may be transferred to CBI

Jaipur: Amid ongoing protests by the family of Head Constable Babulal Bairwa, who committed suicide, the state government has initiated the process to transfer the case to CBI.

Babulal’s suicide note requested a CBI inquiry and named several individuals, including police officers. The family’s dharna continues outside the SMS mortuary, with prominent figures such as LoP Tikaram Jully, Indira Meena, Amin Kagzi, and Anil Chopra showing support.

Babulal’s wife and son have demanded that the postmortem not proceed without their consent and seek the arrest of those named in the note.
