Convocation ceremony at JECRC University

Jaipur: Jaipur commemorates 6 the convocation ceremony in the esteemed presence of  Justice Ajay Rastogi (Judge Supreme Court) and Ashwin Sanghi (Indian writer and author).

The ceremony was started with lamp lighting by chief guest Ajay Rastogi (Honourable Justice Supreme Court of India), guest of honor Ashwin Sanghi ( Indian author and writer ) & Victor Gambir (Vice-Chancellor, JECRC University ).

1200 students got degrees including 24 gold, 19 silver, and 14 bronze medals. During the ceremony students & parents came from across the countries and abroad to the JECRC campus to witness this grand and traditional ceremony. A feeling of pride and glory was identified in the eyes of graduates and parents.

The main attraction of the ceremony was the convocation parade in which the students were seen with 
robes and convocation caps. It was a very emotional moment for the parents to see a glimpse of the journey of their sons and daughters.

Honourable Ajay Rastogi ( Justice, Supreme Court of India) congratulate the graduates and suggested they "work not only for themselves but also for the happiness of others". He encouraged the graduates by calling them the Generation of Entrepreneurs. He also focused on practical learning and stated that we should always try to be better not the best in whatever we do.

Ashwin Sanghi ( Indian writer and author) was truly humbled by the recognition and stated that JECRC has groomed over years. He appreciated the efforts of the graduates and extended the heartiest congratulations to all of them. He shared that to be an author the only thing that motivated him is to know that every shortest distance between two people is a story.

Victor Gambhir (Vice Chancellor, JECRC University) addressed the gathering and narrated the journey and achievements of JECRC so far and congratulated the graduates for their bright future ahead.

O.P. Agrawal (Chairperson, JECRC University) stated that the convocation ceremony is an occasion of pride and joy for any educational institution. He suggested that graduates use their education for the betterment of society and the country. 

The expressions of happiness, satisfaction, and pride seen on the faces of the students and their parents while receiving the degrees themselves testified to the success of this ceremony.

An untold story was captured while witnessing this convocation ceremony.

This was the story of 22 year old boy Sakshit Tinker. Sakshit was a student of B.Tech, Computer Science and had successfully completed his studies in 2022. After four years of hard work and dedication, when Sakshit finally got to know about his degree at the convocation ceremony, he was very excited but unfortunately due to a road accident, his right leg was fractured and he was unable to walk. Despite this pain and muscle pull, Sakshit was so excited to receive his degree wearing the robe and graced the ceremony with his zeal and enthusiasm.
