Construction of Northern Ring Road to start soon!
Jaipur: The dispute between the state government and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) over the construction of Northern Ring Road has finally ended. Now the construction of the Northern Ring Road will start soon.
The construction of 47-km long South Ring Road from Ajmer Road to Agra Road via Tonk Road around the capital has been almost completed by NHAI and vehicular movement has also started.
However, the matter of construction of the 45-km Northern Ring Road from Agra Road to Delhi Road and Delhi Road to C Zone Bypass was pending for a long time because the state government was not able to decide over land issue.
The alignment of the road has been finalised by the NHAI. The NHAI had been demanding land free of cost for the construction of the Ring Road. The present government had decided to construct the land in the width of 360 meters.
